In this garden an old patio has been transformed into a delightful outdoor space. The four fundamental elements of nature (water, fire, wood and stone) are combined into a magnificent contemporary feature to form a beautiful yet practical focal point. A cast iron fireplace burns logs and can be used as an outdoor fire to create heat and a warm atmosphere. The cascade of water next to the fire places the two contrasting elements together in great harmony. A vertical log feature and the natural black slate complete this wall feature. White sandstone and hardwood decking are interlinked for their contrasting textures. The seating area is completed by a beautiful sculpture, a carved stone ball sitting on a raised square frame. Various sets of lighting are installed on the walls and floors for their effect at night.
